The Helix 3000 is a work out!
"I am a certified Pilates instructor and work with clients to improve balance, strength and movement integration on a functional level. I recently integrated the Helix 3000 into my practice for myself and my clients because finding strengthening activities that target the lateral hip rotators and inner and outer thighs is difficult, but essential for balance and general leg and gluteal strength. The Helix 3000 is a work out! I have found that a 30 minute session allows me to sweat, get my heart rate up AND strengthen and tone the laterals. A much better workout than the "traditional" elliptical in less time!"
